About Purpose Pilates
Hi, I’m Beka Rendell, a certified Pilates Instructor and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. In 2017, I was diagnosed with an airway condition that forever changed my path. Through my own healing journey, I discovered a deep connection with my Pilates practice—learning to slow down, listen to my body and breath, and move in a way that not only builds strength but also encourages mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Purpose Pilates was born from my heartfelt desire to help others find meaning in their own movement. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or illness, hoping to improve flexibility, or looking to build strength, balance, and stability, I am here to meet you exactly where you are—with compassion and support.
My greatest hope is that each person I work with finds joy in movement, allowing it to nourish not just the body, but also the mind and spirit.

I was classically trained at Drexel with a contemporary viewpoint. So you will find a lot of classical exercises in my choreography with a modern take.
I teach mat classes as well as reformer and springboard.
When I work with clients individually, we may incorporate the reformer, chair, tower, Cadillac or work with props on the mat.

I teach a mat class at Balance in Chestnut Hill in person. However if you aren’t local to the area, I also offer Live and On Demand classes virtually. Check out the On Demand Tab for more info.
